Kidney Shaped Rosewood Writing Table C.1850.

Description

Unusual little mid 19th.c. shaped writing table c.1850. Kidney shaped top with beautifully figured symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers, thumb moulded edge and a cross banded apron. On carved and pierced legs in solid rosewood with scrolling acanthus leaf feet and original brass castors, joined with a turned and carved stretcher. With an earlier repair to the top otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 42", depth 20", height 29".
