Description

HENRI JACOT: an excellent late 19th century French CARRIAGE CLOCK by this famous clockmaker.

Of substantial size, the Cornice case features bevelled glass panels all around and an oval panel to the top. The 8-day movement strikes hours and half-hours on a gong and it retains its original lever platform escapement. Signed and complete with its original numbered winding key and numbered leather travelling case. Highly recommended and guaranteed for at least two years.

* The movement, case, key and outer leather travelling case are all numbered 8233.
