Description

GILLOWS of LANCASTER: a very good quality early/mid 19th century TEA TABLE in excellent condition.

The well-figured top, with its egg-and-dart moulding, opens to reveal a similarly well-figured interior. This top swivels to allow the open top to be supported on the frieze which features recessed panels to each corner. It is supported on four well-turned legs with 'toupee' feet and particularly good cast brass and "hatch" decorated brass castors. 34ins (84.5cms) wide. (c1835)
