Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It has 12 turned Coat Hooks, there is a mirror in the centre flanked by masks of the Green man and male and female guardians.
The lower section has a glove drawer with the Green Man’s face handle in the centre and each side is supported by a fierce Lion caryatid set on a huge hairy paw foot
This piece is superbly carved and good all round condition
The Stand is 96” tall, 21” deep and 49” wide
