Excellent Quality Antique Edwardian Solid Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum Armoire by Maples & Co C1900

Description

This is an excellent quality antique edwardian mahogany wardrobe compactum and dating from 1900. Constructed from solid mahogany and by the esteemed cabinet makers maples & co with its ivorine badge.

It has a cornice top above a deep mahogany frieze. There is a full length bevelled mirrored door to one side with internal brass hooks and hanging rail. To the other side there are two beautifully panelled and cross banded doors with internal shelf and with working key (this key also fits the drawers below). There are two short drawers over four long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original brass handles. It stands on a plinth base and separates into four pieces fpr ease of transporting.

The whole wardrobe is mahogany lined.

An absolutely superb quality antique wardrobe.

Measures: 85" high X 23" deep X 19" internal depth X 65" wide
