Description

A good mahogany, satinwood & marquetry inlaid Late 19th Century antique breakfront bookcase. The upper breakfront section with a pierced fretwork swan neck pediment with dentil moulding above four rectangular astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable mahogany shelves and a rectangular mahogany lined drawer with brass swan neck handles. The lower section with two marquetry inlaid panelled doors enclosing further adjustable mahogany shelves and flanked by two astragal glazed doors with internal mahogany shelves. The whole supported on a breakfront solid mahogany plinth. English circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: 91" high x 75" wide x 21" deep Centre (16" deep at ends)

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed

A good mahogany, satinwood & marquetry inlaid Late 19th Century antique breakfront bookcase.
