Description

A really magnificent fine quality biscuit box made from a hefty piece of crystal cut with the ever-popular hobnail design with a star-cut to the underside.

The large oval box sits in a stand on four original bun feet and with four figural supports in the form of Dolphins. The hinged lid has a Dolphin finial which finishes off this late Victorian gem dating to around 1890.

An impressive size, the crystal box measures 7" x 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" ; the overall assembled box in stand measures 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" to top of finial.
