Description

An absolutely superb entree / serving dish made from English silver plate and dating to around 1890. The dis stands on four very elegant shell shaped fluted feet and has a wonderfully decorative handle each side.

The lid once removed, reveals the draining plate which once removed would be filled with hot water to keep the food above nice and warm.

The underside is fully marked for the well renowned and highly collectible Hukin and Heath. Excellent condition, spanning 13" handle to handle x 8 3/4" x 6 1/2" tall to top of handle.
