A very pretty cut glass box with solid silver embossed lid depicting the mythological figure ''green man'' below a cartouche. The lid has a beaded border and is gilded on the inside. The lid is hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 with the maker''s mark of Robert Pringle & Sons.
Weight (total): 74.35 grams approx.
Weight (lid): 8.00 grams approx.
Height: 3.25 cms approx.
Length: 8.0 cms approx.
Width: 3.61 cms approx.
CONDITION (see photos).
In very good condition commensurate with age. The lid has a slight bend to the border when seen side on and a couple of minor dings which are only noticeable on close inspection. The hallmarks are clear. The glass has no chips or cracks. The gilding on the lid interior is in very good condition.
