A Lady’s Antique Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

A lady’s antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a jewelled stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 7227380 which dates it back to 1896. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and was made by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison, who was formerly employed by Waltham in the USA. The front of the case has elaborate initials to the front. There are a couple of indentations to the case back.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The lens is in good condition.

The enamel dial is in beautiful condition.

The watch comes with a short albertina, 19.5cm long including the clasps.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
