Antique Early Victorian Satinbirch Writing Table Desk

Description

Large antique early Victorian writing table in satin birch with a tooled hand coloured leather writing surface. It has 2 drawers, with fine dovetails & turned wooden handles. The legs are nicely turned & sit on casters. This desk has just been polished & is in excellent condition. The satin birch has the usual silky finish, plus light & dark elements. I would date it to around the 1840-60's period.

Depth - 22", 56 cm

Height - 29.5", 75 cm

Kneehole Height - 24.4", 62 cm
