Description

This is a set of six Hepplewhite revival dining chairs dating to the mid 19th century.

Perfect for everyday use, these chairs are well proportioned and elegant, the mahogany frames are deep in colour with a lustrous shine and fabulous antique patina.

Raised on tapered, square section front legs terminating in classic spade feet and complimented by pinched and splayed rear legs, the seat pads feature a bow front, generous width and are professionally upholstered – finished in a cream patterned fabric.

The shield backs are delightful with moulded edge detail, triple pierced bars featuring a central rosette and typical leaf and feathered detailing with a Prince of Wales style plume to the upper centre splat.

A super set of chairs presented in good antique condition, solid joints and stable seating delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
