A Very Unusual Irish Mahogany Serving Table

Description

Of impressive proportions and constructed from high quality figured mahogany, this table stands on 6 reeded cabriole legs of very unusual form. The frieze is inlaid with ebony stringing and the top of the legs are decorated with ebony and boxwood reeds, to either side there is a mahogany lined drawer. The top itself is of one large piece of mahogany with a gadrooned edge. In very good condition and of good colour. 2290mm wide, 510mm deep and 950mm high. Circa 1830
