The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model by Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the outer edge although very acceptable for a 1908 piece. The small lens is surrounded by Roman numerals with a blue enamel filling. The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover.

The inner lens is also in good condition. The signed white enamel dial is in nice condition and it has the special half hunter hour hand so that when the front cover is closed, the wearer can decipher which hand is the minute hand and which is the hour hand.
