Vintage Art Deco English Dressing Table Box - Sterling and Guilloche Enamel Lid

Description

A heavy piece of crystal was used to make this top quality vanity or powder box, beautifully and deeply hand-cut.

The lid is made from English sterling silver and topped with a wonderful powder blue guilloche enamel with a good shiny patina showcasing the beautiful Art Deco engine turned design below. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1938 together with the makers initials for the well renowned Adie Brothers.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" in diameter x 1 3/4" tall.
