A Very Fine 20 Drawer Victorian, Honduras Mahogany, Collectors Cabinet Circa 1870.

Description

This beautifully figured honduras mahogany cabinet is in fine condition and an outstanding example of victorian cabinet making.

Originally an insect cabinet the twenty drawers are constructed of solid mahogany throughout and each has a hidden universal cell. The closely fitted glazed frames give maximum protection for the drawer contents whatever collection they may contain.

All the drawers are internally base lined with a layer of cork and they have been re-papered with acid free quality cartridge paper. All ready for use.

This cabinet is of great quality far in excess of the standard cabinets of the time.

Fitted with original lock and key.

All questions are welcome and specialised delivery with absolute certainty of arrival in tip top condition can be arranged.

Width. 21.5 inches.

Front to back. 21.5 inches.

Drawers.

Width. 18 inches.

Front to back. 18 inches.

Overall depth. 2 inches (imperial).
