Pierre Grisot was born in Paris and studied at the Ecole Des Beaux-Arts. He exhibited frequently in Paris, in particular at the Salon Des Independants with the group "The Paris School" alongside fellow artists Vlaminck, Raoul Dufy and Villon. He also exhibited in Germany, Belgium, Sweden and the USA He designed hat and perfume advertisements for Christian Dior and carried fashion illustrations for the journal "L'Officiel De La Mode Et De La Couture". His work is now very popular and sought after.
