Vintage 1950s Geneva Art Deco Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

Vintage 1950s Geneva Art Deco wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Chase Watch Co, seventeen 17 jewels unadjusted, Swiss.

The watch was originally made as a gents watch although it would suit a slimmer wrist and would also work as a ladies watch. The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 37.9mm high including the lugs. The gold plated case and is in nice condition with only light wear to the edges although hardly noticeable.

The case back is stamped stainless back.

The faceted plastic lens has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The jewelled dial is signed Geneva, 17 jewels. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd faint mark.

The watch has its original hands.

The watch has a new brown leather strap.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
