Ovolo 'egg-and-dart' rim border with beaded edge. Raised on stylised scroll legs and feet. The base with platform surmounted by a central realistically modelled pineapple.

Throughout the C18th and C19th the pineapple was considered the symbol of high hospitality due to its rarity , exotic nature and cost . Hence its relevance to guests and hospitality and use in entertaining.
Glass in perfect condition , no chips .
Smart centre-piece or fruit-dish ,for a dining table or sideboard .
