Regency Mahogany Desk Chair

Description

A handsome antique Regency mahogany open armchair dating from circa 1820. The reeded oblong top-rail and crossbar above a drop-in seat on turned front legs and sabre back legs. It has been newly re-upholstered in a satin grey fabric. Good colour and patina. A beautiful statement piece that would make a handsome desk chair.

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Some well executed old repairs to the arms.
