Description

A vintage Gents 1938 Elgin 10K gold filled curvex wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement grade 536 which is working well. The jewelled movement is signed Elgin U.S.A. 15 jewels and the serial number X159173 which dates the watch to 1938.

The watch measures 21.4 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 39.8 mm high including the lugs. The 10k rolled gold case is stamped cased and timed by Elgin National, Schwab & Wuischpard, 10k gold filled.. The case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back has engraved initials on it. (R.E.R)

The lens is glass is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Elgin. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original hands.

The watch has a new black leather strap.
