Description

Early Aluminium started to be used more freely during the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and was a revolutionary and highly prized metal. This beautiful magnifying glass is a prime example from that era, dating to 1900 / 1910.

The frame surrounding the glass is quite beautiful and highly decorative having been engraved all the way around. The handle is made from Mother of Pearl with it's fine iridescent quality.

Excellent condition with an excellent magnification, measuring 7 1/2" with a glass diameter measuring 3 1/4".
