Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The box has a clear Art Nouveau design with fabulous stylized repousse Poppies to the lid and sides. The hinged lid fits well and once opened reveals the original lavishly gilded interior. The box has a full hallmark for Birmingham 1904, Edwardian in era.
Superb condition and an impressive gem.
