Description

A rich and rare Georgian writing bureau C1790. The piece features two cock beaded front drawers with swan neck brass handles, legs featuring Chippendale blind fret work and Chinese style corner spandrels.

Internally the bureau is fitted with four drawers, four pigeon holes and a central door. The interior also features four 'secret drawers' via the freeze either side of the door and the two pillars.

The piece is in good condition. the handle to the second larger drawer has been moved but many years ago.
