Antique Kitchenalia Enamel Avery Weighing Scales embossed "To Weigh Avery, 28 Pound"

This is a lovely set of scales made by Avery. Likely dating from the 1920's, and would have been used in a shop for meat or cheese etc.

They have a wonderful patina. Extremely heavy and well engineered. Enamelled metal work still in very good condition which is quite rare; one thick shaped glass shelf and one metal shelf for the weights - both original and fit into spaces nicely and do not slide around.

The 3 weights are marked "GPO" and are included with the scales.

The Avery Red ball is present on both sides of the scales.

Would suite both retail or domestic clients nicely as a display piece, although it does work as a scale as well.
