Lovely little silver pin cushion by Sampson Mordan & Co. of a a hatching chick with original purple velvet cover. Hallmarked for Chester 1913 and with reg. no. 475678.

It measures 1" high and 1 7/8" by 3/4" wide, and weighs 12g. Condition is very good; the fabric is quite worn as it is original, but just the odd light surface mark to the metal.
