A Gents 1950s Universal Geneve Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Universal Geneve wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 332, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Universal Geneve, Swiss Made.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition. The inside of the case back has the Universal Geneve logo while the outside has a serial number which dates it back to 1955/56.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed textured dial is in its original finish which is in good condition, perhaps just a little darkening, and it has its original hands.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
