Description

Large gilt lined Danish silver quaich/brandy bowl with embossed and engraved decoration around the bowl and pretty art nouveau style handles with cast and engraved detailing.

Made by the Anton Michelsen works, marked MICHELSEN under a crown and assayed by Christian F. Heise. The Copenhagen 3 towers mark is also stamped with date 1905.

It measures 20cm wide across the handles, 14cm across the bowl and 6.5cm high. It weighs 324g/10.4 ozt. Condition is excellent with minimal signs of use inside and out.
