This RARE CREAMWARE TEAPOT, decorated with the scenes 'THE PRODIGAL SON IN EXCESS' and 'THE PRODIGAL SON IN MISERY', dates from circa 1780.

The colours are strong.

Condition: There is old restoration to the lid, knop and end of the spout. There are old hairlines in the base and some small surface chips to the top rim.
