The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement would have been imported to be finished, cased and subsequently retailed in the UK. The movement is signed with the J W Benson name.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has a very slight indentation to the case back but overall is in very nice condition.

The watch glass is in very good order.
The signed white enamel dial is in super condition, just a little marking on the subsidiary seconds dial.
The watch comes with its original Watch Warranty, dated for Christmas Eve 1940, and also the J W Benson card presentation box… it is very unusual to still have the Warranty and box on a piece of this age.
Due to transit insurance restrictions, only UK postage is available for this item ... postage included in the price.
