Antique Waltham Pocket Watch, Chain and Vesta

An antique Waltham pocket watch with silver albert and vesta case.

The watch has a key-winding movement which is working nicely. There are two keys included with the watch, one to wind and the other to set the hands. The movement is signed and the serial number of 10,246,426 dates it back to 1901. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and the front is in good condition. The hinged case back has small indentations and some unevenness.

The watch glass has minor marks but is very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial is in good condition. The finish on the hour hand has tarnished a little giving it a gold coloured hue. Subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with an albert which measures 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, and a lozenge shaped nickel vesta case… there is some rubbing to the finish on the vesta, all commensurate with its age.
