Description

An excellent quality, George I style gilt wood and gesso side chair, in the style of James Moore. The shaped back incorporating a wide splat with carved paterae strap work and foliage. The drop in seat, within a frame of blind fret detail, raised on carved cabriole legs. All with its original water gilding showing signs of appropriate wear.

Condition : Fair
