Victorian Brass Fire Dogs

Description

This pair of brass dogs are extremely heavy - weighing 1.9kgs each.

They measure 25cm in height at the front, the length from front to back is 21cm and the feet at the front are 15cm across.

There is a claw holding the big ball at the top, and the feet are shaped like big lion's paws, whilst in the centre is a shield symbol. They have been very well made and are solid. There were once lacquered and we have just lightly polished them.
