Description

A wonderful pair of antique English candlesticks, unusually in Mahogany rather than Oak.

The wood has a wonderful patina with two skillfully carved spirals creating the ever-popular Barley Twist design; the base is beautifully turned and has had some new baize fitted on the underside to protect your polished furniture.

The cast brass sconces or drip trays are removable for easy cleaning.

A very elegant and sophisticated pair in superb condition. Taller than most standing 14", with a base diameter measuring 5 1/2".
