A superb quality carved mahogany 19th century leather upholstered wing armchair dating to circa 1880. This impressive wing armchair of decent size and good proportions has a wide feather cushioned seat making it extremely comfortable.

The shaped sides with scrolled arms being finished with brass studwork are raised upon the finest quality handcarved mahogany base having central grotesque mask surrounded by foliage and ribbons with four shaped cabriole legs with shell to the knee terminating on ball and claw feet.

This impressive antique leather chair is polished and carved to all sides making it able to stand freely with the room having been upholstered in a top quality hand dye leather hide. In excellent condition this wing chair is sure to be the focal and talking point of any room.
