A Beautiful Walnut Victorian Period Open Armchair

Description

A beautiful walnut Victorian Period open armchair. With a "Cameo" back having a finely carved floral crest above the oval padded back support. Having open swept arms, upholstered arm rests and beautifully carved knuckles. Having a generous sprung seat of serpentine outline and supported on finely carved cabriole supports with brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1860

Dimensions: 38" high x 28" wide x 24" deep (seat height 18")

Condition: This chair is in wonderful condition, cleaned and waxed, newly re-upholstered in our workshops in a gold silk damask.
