A Superb Mahogany Victorian Period Open Bookcase

Description

A Stunning quality mahogany Victorian Period antique open bookcase. Having a rectangular top veneered in stunning figured mahogany and of inverted breakfront form, with fine quality ebony mouldings. The frieze with a central finely carved floral rosette flanked by rectangular figured mahogany panels. The central open "section" having two adjustable mahogany shelves and flanked by wonderful turned, carved and fluted free standing projecting columns. The whole supported on an inverted breakfront mahogany plinth with ebonised moulding and having solid mahogany sides. English circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 48" wide x 17" deep x 45" high

Condition: This bookcase is in stunning original condiiton, cleaned and waxed
