Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
An arch topped case with pad top with brass border and carrying handle.
There are brass sound frets to the sides and the clock stands on four brass bun feet.

The 8 day, pendulum movement strikes on the half-hour and the hour on a bell. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.
The two piece enamelled dial has a Brocot jewelled visible escapement which can be seen working whilst the clock is running. It has a decorative brass surround and a heavy cast bezel with bevelled glass.
A very classy clock that is much nicer in real life than our photographs show.
