Quality Set of 12 Carved Oak Dining Chairs C.1880.

Description

Superb quality set of 12 carved oak dining chairs c.1880. Oak frames with a carved cartouche to the cresting rail over an arch top back pad and generously proportioned sprung seat upholstered in very good quality red leather with brass studs. Raised on turned and fluted front legs with original brass collared castors with a lignum vitae wheel (ideal for wooden floors). Small impression to the backrest on one chair, otherwise excellent condition with minimal wear to the leather. Frames have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
