Description

This beautiful HANDPAINTED PORCELAIN WASH JUG & BOWL, in the COALPORT style, dates from circa 1840.

It is freely painted with ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN FLOWERS in an attractive palette. There is also raised floral decoration to the body of the JUG and to the BOWL and scalloped detail to the rims.

The JUG & BOWL SET displays beautifully with a freshness to the design.

Condition: Good. There are some small surface chips to the underside of the rim of the JUG and BOWL. These do not detract from the overall appearance of this lovely SET. There are no cracks or restoration.
