A 1930s Art Deco Pocket Watch

Description

A 1930s Art Deco pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch has a most unusually shaped case, true Art Deco style. The case is chrome plated, a very popular method in the Art Deco period. There are some surface scratches to the case back just from use.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial has a textured sunburst pattern which really adds to its character. There is a little age related darkening. The fleur de lys patterned hands are a particular nice feature.

We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
