The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The signed movement is good quality and has a damascene finish which would have added considerably to the production costs. The serial number on the movement dates the watch back to 1900.

The watch measures 51mm diameter and it has a very nice two tone case with screw-on bezel and back. There is a smooth indentation to the case back.
The watch glass is in good order with just a small amount of nibbling to the bevelled edge.

The white enamel dial is signed with the Coventry Lever Co Ltd name, a company retailing imported American and Swiss pocket and wrist watches. It also has the Special Waltham name. There are a couple of short faint hairline cracks between 7 and 8 but other than that, the dial is in good condition. Blued steel hands.
