Late Victorian Solitaire Game - With Original Labeled Geological Specimens Instead Of Marbles.

This rare and attractive late 19th century game of solitaire is played on its original eleven inch, turned, walnut board.
 
Unusually, the marbles are not made of glass, but are all different geological specimens - the majority still have their original hand written labels - so each one can be easily identified.
 
The board has been sensitively restored and retains a lovely colour and patina.
