Rolex Marconi Chrome Plated Wristwatch

1900 - 1920
Description

An early Rolex Marconi wristwatch. A chrome plated 'cushion' shaped case. A silvered dial marked 'Rolex Marconi' in great original condition with raised gilt Arabic numerals and minute markers. Dial including a subsidiary seconds face to six o'clock. Movement marked 'sixteen rubies Swiss made' and the ratchet wheel signed 'Rolex Watch Co- Marconi'. Case back stamped RWC Ltd and numbered 703712 and 1178. Circa 1925.
