Unusual Large Wall Hanging Display Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual and attractive late Victorian or Edwardian inlaid mahogany WALL DISPLAY CABINET of good size.

Below the cornice with its Grecian Key frieze, the large 'astragal' glazed door opens to reveal the baize-lined interior. This door is prettily inlaid with a wide band of rosewood between chequer-stringing, and is complete with original working key. Ideal to display medals or perhaps a collection of miniatures. Just 3ins deep; approx 42ins high and 20ins wide (7.5cms x 106cms x 51cms).
