A Gents Large 1920s Queen Anne Watch by the West End Watch Co

Description

A gents Large 1920s Queen Anne watch by the West End Watch Company.

The watch has a nice quality movement which has been fully tested and is working nicely. The movement is signed with the West End Watch Company logo.

The watch itself measures 37.8mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The nickel case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition. The inside of the case back is stamped Everbright steel back ( an early form of stainless steel).

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed West End Watch Co, Queen Anne, Bombay-Calcutta. The dial has faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye and a small chip under the bezel between 3 & 4 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A later black leather strap has been fitted.

Price includes worldwide postage.
