Christian Davies Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The lower section with a wonderful central marquetry and mother of pearl inlaid "peacock" panel typical of Shapland and Petter work, flanked by twin glazed doors opening to reveal a velvet lined shelved interior. The whole supported on square tapering supports united by a wavy stretcher. Registration mark R1785 to the back. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 49" wide x 62" high x 16" deep
Condition: This cabinet is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. A couple of old faded ring marks to the top.
