A very fine, solid silver Vesta Case. The shape of the case is particularly attractive (see photos). Beautifully engraved: to the front with swirls and leaves and an empty cartouch, to the back: completely engraved with the same design. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1911 are clearly visible to the front of the lid and also under the lid, along with the maker''s marks for Turner & Simpson. The lid is hinged and closes well with a loop at the top for attaching.
The condition of the case is very good, however, there is a very small dent to the left hand side of the front of the case.
Measurements: 46.80mm x 34.39mm approx.
Weight: 17.64g approx.
