A Superb Mahogany 18th Century Antique Partners Desk

Description

A superb mahogany 19th Century antique partners desk. The rectangular top having a wonderful quality olive green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail and having mahogany cross banding with a thumb moulded edge. Each side of the top has three mahogany lined rectangular drawers with circular brass ring handles. The pedestals having six rectangular mahogany lined drawers to one side and panelled doors to the reverse, enclosing a single shelf. The whole supported on solid mahogany plinths with concealed castors. English circa 1880

Dimensions: 54" wide x 38" deep x 29" high (knee hole 23" high x 23" wide)

Condition: This desk is in superb condition, cleaned and waxed. The circular brass handles are later replacements
