Antique Goliath Pocket Watch and Chain, Circa 1910s.

Description

Antique Goliath pocket watch and chain, circa 1910s.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The nicely jewelled movement is stamped Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover with plastic lens.

The watch measures 65mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop so it is larger than the standard 50mm pocket watch. The case is made of nickel. The condition of the case is good with just minor surface marks.

The watch glass has minor marks but is very acceptable.

The enamel dial has bold Roman numerals. There are a couple of faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes with a watch chain or albert with graduated links - it measures 33cm long including the ring clip and the clasp.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
